Confidence in God

The other night I couldn't sleep, and I found this awesome verse!

"My heart is confident in you, O God; my heart is confident.
No wonder I can sing your praises!" Psalm 57:7

A big attribute I have been praying for on this journey is faith that God will provide everything I need. Right now, 4-5 months away from the trip, I know that faith is easy, but the closer I get to June the more challenging it will be. Well, bring it on! My heart is confident in God!

Today I enveloped most of my Kenya letters to send out tomorrow morning, which is very exciting!

Also, I originally planned to not take summer school classes because of Kenya, but I am going to see if I can try anyways. If I take 15 credit hours this summer, I can go to Liberty University in Spring 2013. If not, I'll have to wait for Fall 2013. Really, I just want my degree and that's it. I want to move on. However, Kenya is a priority so I'm going with or without summer school.

Right now, I'm trying not to be stressed.  It's all in God's hands. (:

Step 1

Today I began making a list of all the family and friends I will be sending out letters to. As I was making the list I began thinking a lot about the money I need to earn, and I began to panic for a split second. I then reminded myself that God will always provide. The bible verse that I have been focusing on a lot lately is this:

"Jesus explained: 'My nourishment comes from doing the will of God,
who sent me, and from finishing his work'."
-John 4:34

This verse tells me that even JESUS, the Son of the living God, had a job to do. This verse encourages me in full-filling God's purpose for my life.
