We're home!

On Tuesday the 19th, my team arrived home safe and sound. In the morning we were in London boarding our flight at Heathrow so we would land in Chicago. This was an 8-9 hour flight. Also, London is 5 hours ahead of Indy... so Tuesday was a long day. Once we landed in Chicago, some of us bought round two of our venti Starbucks orders and boarded for a short flight to Indy. This jet was a lot smaller than the international planes we've been on. When we left our terminal, we had a large group of family and friends waiting for us. Below are some photos my friend Claire took of our welcome home party.

Thanks to Claire- this is me seeing Nik for the first time. I made sure to be in the front of the group. I am very happy to be home.

Some more reactions to our support system.

I am going to share my trip on this blog and through post-trip letters when I am ready. Right now I feel a little overwhelmed by discussing the trip. I love so much that people care to ask, but I will share later. I am tired and I am trying to adjust right now. I look forward to sharing stories and photos, but first I need to relax and rest. This blog will be updated soon!

I leave for the church in the morning to depart at 9am for the airport. We are going from NYC to London to Nairobi. We should arrive in Kenya on Saturday morning!

God has provided the rest of our money for my team! The Car washes we had last week totaled $1700! He is such a provider!

I am not going to update this blog on the trip, but when I return I will add important parts of the trip to my entries. I will also change the dates on the blog so it matches the day each experience took place.
