Well, here I am exactly a month after I sent my trip letters, and I am in awe with how much God has provided for me. There are so many giving people in my life who are very excited for my adventure. I'm doing my best to make sure those who have supported me feel a part of this trip.

All of these awesome people's donations are changing my heart to want to be more of a giver. I want to give until it hurts.

Ironically, I still have more support letters to send out too (keep forgetting).

The more I think about Kenya, the more anxious I feel. There's still so much to do. After my Spring Break trip, I need to get a passport, shots/medicine, and buy long village girl skirts (peasant girl skirts? I am not sure).

Current Prayer Needs:

• Fear of African food (I don't want to eat a cat)
• The friendships of all of the people going on the trip to strengthen
• For God to permanently strengthen everyone's faith.. He will provide!
• For God to provide money for the leaders. Two of the leaders are married and I can not imagine the stress of that!
• For no one to get diseases while on the trip. 
• For the violence in Africa .. namely caused by the LRA... click here for more info on Joseph Kony.
• For the current drought in Africa
• For God to prepare the hearts of the Kenyan's and mission trippers for whatever He is going to do!

First donation

Yesterday Todd, the Engage Kenya trip leader, told me that my first donation was received! Woohoo. God is good!

Philippians 4:19"But my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus."
