I am going to the doctor's tomorrow to get my health stuff taken care of for this trip. After lots of research, I have found that all I need to get is the Hep A shot and Malaria pills. Insurance should cover that, so I will not be spending lots of money on that type of stuff.
Todd told me that I don't need to get the Typhoid shot because we will not be drinking their water. Bottled waters will be provided. I don't need to get Polio, Yellow Fever, Hep B, or Tetanus shots either.

Meeting #3: LONDON news
Tonight I went to a Kenya meeting and found out some VERYYYY EXCITING news! On our way home from Africa my groups' flight goes to London, England, and we are touring for a day and staying the night there. On top of that, a friend of mine who went off to YWAM Canada in January will be in London the same time we will be. She is doing a mission there, and we will get to see her. She's also been a part of Engage Ministry for a while and she's one of my good friends!
Because of this London opportunity, the trip now costs $175 more, but that is so worth it!
I am thrilled!!! This is definitely a once in a lifetime opportunity!

2 weeks
My passport is supposed to arrive in 2 weeks.
My doctors appointment is also in 2 weeks. These are all the shots I will have to get.. the malaria pill may not be necessary.

Polio Booster $75
Malaria $190 or maybe only $50 - they will explain options.

This is all pretty crazy, but God will provide! Man, do I hate shots though.
